    Rustichella d'Abruzzo

    Honeys

Present since prehistoric times, honey is mentioned in many literary works, both ancient and modern. It is in fact mentioned in the Hammurabi code, as food of the gods for the Greeks, as a food and condiment for the Romans, but also as an excellent ointment for other peoples. A great producer of honey, Abruzzo, specifically in the town of Tornareccio, with the technique of nomadism has an original production method which, thanks to the continuous movement of farmers and swarms in search of the best plantations in different places in Italy , produces a large quantity and variety of mono floral honeys. There are more than ten types of honey produced, the typical ones of Abruzzo are Acacia, Lupinella, Santoreggia and Millefiori; all the others, such as Orange, Chestnut, Cherry, Coriander, Eucalyptus, Girasole and Marruca come from the surrounding regions. Rustichella d’Abruzzo has selected for you the best honeys produced in Abruzzo.
